Prague / London, 23 October 2025 — Soulmates Ventures has led a £1.6 million seed investment in Rightcharge, a London-based company simplifying electric vehicle (EV) charging payments for businesses across Europe. The round was joined by Purple Ventures, Blackwood Ventures, and Unruly Capital.
Making EV charging simple, transparent and scalable
Rightcharge solves one of the biggest operational barriers to fleet electrification — complex and error-prone charging payments, particularly for drivers who charge company cars at home.
Its platform automates the entire process: linking directly to drivers’ energy accounts, managing payments and reimbursements, and consolidating all charging costs into one compliant and transparent monthly bill. The result is a unified, tax-ready system that works seamlessly across home, public and depot charging.
Rightcharge enables fleets to cut charging costs by up to 90% and reduce carbon emissions by around 30%, while eliminating administrative complexity for fleet managers.
Proven performance and customer trust
With 10× revenue growth this year, 0% fleet customer churn over the past 18 months, and customers such as the Automobile Association (AA), WJ, and VINCI Construction already on board, Rightcharge has proven the scalability and resilience of its technology.
The company is now expanding its operations across Europe, supported by a new partnership with Octopus Electroverse.
Backed by Soulmates Ventures’ long-term sustainability vision
“For us, Rightcharge represents what real sustainability looks like — practical innovation that truly works, is scalable and profitable, helps companies save money and reduces emissions at scale,” said Hynek Sochor, Founder at Soulmates Ventures.
“Fleet electrification is one of Europe’s biggest levers for decarbonisation. Rightcharge is building the infrastructure that makes this transition faster, simpler and more efficient for businesses.”
